Holy Church of Saint Cosmas of the Aetolian

This beautiful church is the first in Cyprus to be dedicated to Saint Kosmas the Aetolian and is located at the southern entrance of the cemetery of Saint Athanasios in Limassol. Its construction began in 2005 through the tireless efforts of the local committee and the faithful, following the relevant blessing of the Metropolitan. It is built in the type of the three-aisled cross-in-square basilica with a dome, while externally it bears a distinctive and tasteful cladding of local Kyvides stone and exposed solid red brick.
