Holy Church of Saint Demetrianos

This holy church is located in the eponymous community of the Paphos district and is dedicated to Saint Demetrianos, Bishop of Chytroi. The area is directly connected with the Saint, as according to tradition he passed through there and practiced asceticism in a nearby cave that survives to this day. The church is the religious center of the village, where every year on the 6th of November a great festival takes place that gathers crowds of pilgrims from the entire district.
