Holy Church of Saint Demetrianos

This newly built church fulfilled a long-standing wish of the residents of the area and is the first modern church dedicated to the local Saint Bishop of the people of Tamasos. It was built right next to the ruins of an ancient chapel, where the faithful kept a lamp lit for decades. The church was inaugurated with every solemnity during the current part of our century, gathering crowds of Christians and housing precious martyric relics.
