Holy Church of Saint George Aglantzias

This magnificent and central church dominates the heart of Aglantzia. Its construction began in 1959 and was completed in 1964 on the initiative of the then community leader and a group of active residents. It is characterized by its imposing domes, the arches, and the elaborate carved capitals, while its interior is adorned with remarkable modern wall paintings. Owing to its large size and its central location, it is the main parish church of the area, ideal for the celebration of every kind of religious ceremony and sacrament.
