Holy Church of Saint George Mylikouriou

This particular church is the central and largest church of the community, dominating within the verdant mountainous relief of the area. According to the written inscription that survives above the western entrance, the structure underwent radical renovation during the early part of the eighteenth century. In its interior is hosted a wooden iconostasis of particular historical value, as well as rare, old icons with the most characteristic being that of the Theotokos that dates from the sixteenth century.
