Holy Church of Saint James of Persou

This imposing and majestic church is the central church of the community of Choirokoitia. It is dedicated to a distinctive Saint and stands out for its beautiful stone-built structure and its tall bell tower that dominates the area. Its interior is spacious, housing a noteworthy iconostasis and old icons of great religious value. Because of its central position, it is the focal point of all the great feasts and sacraments of the village.
