Holy Church of Saint Kyriakos of the Hermit

The Holy Church of Saint Kyriakos the Anchorite is the patron and central church of the mountainous Kampos of Tsakistra. It is an impressive vaulted, timber-roofed structure, considered the largest of its kind on the entire island. It was built in the late 19th century upon the foundations of an older church and houses inside the valuable wood-carved iconostasis of Panagia ton Iliakon.
