Holy Church of Saint Marina Pyrgon

The new Holy Church of Saint Marina dominates the central square of the community of Pyrga in the Larnaca district, having replaced the smaller medieval church of the village. It is a modern, spacious structure that covers the daily worship needs of the residents and belongs ecclesiastically to the Holy Metropolis of Tremithous. In the surrounding space of the older church is located the historic first spring of the village, which supplied the community with water in the past.
