Holy Church of Saint Onoufriou

This medieval chapel is the oldest surviving structure in the heart of the mountainous settlement. It is an exceptionally small, single-space church with a particularly spacious sanctuary apse, which has undergone several restorative interventions over the centuries. Owing to its invaluable historical worth, the rare 13th-century Byzantine icons it once housed are now kept for protection in the area's Byzantine Museum.
