Holy Church of Saint Panteleimon, Lower Akourdaleia

This holy church is the main and central church of the community of Kato Akourdaleia in the Paphos district, dedicated to the Great Martyr and Healer Saint Panteleimon. The architecture of the structure follows the lines of local tradition, fully serving the spiritual and functional needs of the area's inhabitants. Inside it a climate of contemplation prevails, while the surrounding space offers the characteristic tranquillity of the Cypriot countryside. The community gathers there to festively celebrate the memory of its protector Saint every year on 27 July.
