Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi

The Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi is the central parish church of the community of Ergates in the Nicosia district. The imposing structure was founded at the end of the 1960s to cover the increasing worship needs of the area's residents. The church is distinguished by its large bell tower and its spacious interior space, which is decorated with modern wall paintings and an elaborate iconostasis. It is the focal point of the religious events of the village, especially during the annual festival on the 26th of July.
