Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi

This imposing church is the central parish church of the community and is built in a prominent mountainous location of the Marathasa valley. The structure replaced an older, smaller church that was located at the same spot in order to better serve the increasing population of the village. In its interior are hosted precious religious icons and an elaborate iconostasis that evokes devotion in the pilgrims. The church celebrates its feast festively every year at the end of July with a large attendance of the faithful from the wider Troodos area.
