Holy Church of Saint Spyridon

This large parish church is located in the centre of one of the most densely populated refugee and urban districts in south-western Limassol. Its construction was completed around 1980, in order to meet the immediate worship and spiritual needs of the thousands of displaced people who settled in the area after 1974. It is built in the type of the three-aisled domed basilica and is a timeless point of reference, social service and religious devotion for the local community.
