Holy Church of Saint Stylianos

This holy chapel is located in the occupied community of Prasteio Morphou in the Nicosia district. After the Turkish invasion of 1974, the church was forcibly abandoned by its displaced inhabitants, while it later underwent a conversion of its use into a Muslim mosque. Today, the displaced inhabitants of the area and the competent ecclesiastical committee keep the memory of the monument alive, organising divine liturgies in neighbouring open churches of the village during the religious feasts.
