Holy Church of Saint Theodore (Ruins)

This is the main church and patron shrine of the occupied seaside village of Vokolida in the Karpasia region. The building dominates the community and was the focal point of the inhabitants' religious life before the uprooting of 1974. Today, this historic monument remains silent and abandoned in the occupied zone, making the free attendance of the faithful and the celebration of sacraments impossible.
