Holy Church of Saint Therapon

This majestic central church was built to meet the expanded residential needs of the area. The structure follows the type of the three-aisled domed basilica and is equipped with two imposing bell towers on its facade. Inside, an elaborate wood-carved iconostasis and rich hagiographic decoration stand out. The memory of the honoured ascetic, who is closely connected with the history of the place, is celebrated festively every autumn.
