Holy Church of Saints Apostles Peter and Paul

This single-aisled, timber-roofed church dominates the centre of the mountainous community of Agios Pavlos in the Limassol district. The structure dates from the Turkish occupation period and is an excellent example of the local ecclesiastical architecture of the island. Owing to its limited interior dimensions and its traditional character, it functions mainly as a place of daily contemplation and individual prayer for the few inhabitants, keeping its historical identity intact.
