Holy Church of Saints Kirykou and Ioulittis

This exceptional Byzantine monument is located to the south-east of the community of Letymvou in the Paphos district and is dedicated to the memory of the martyrs Kirykos and Ioulitta. It is a cross-in-square domed church, which is thought to have functioned as the katholikon of an old monastery that no longer survives. The stone-built edifice lies lower than the ground surface and houses inside important, well-preserved hagiographies that date mainly from the late 15th century.
