Holy Cross

A traditional, stone-built church located within the mountain settlement, which bears deep historic marks from the passage of time. The structure suffered serious architectural alterations and destructions during the 19th and 20th century, which led to the loss of valuable interior wall paintings. Today it presents a distinctive double-aisled arrangement with an irregular shape, being an important religious and historic point of reference for the local community of Marathasa.
