Holy Metropolitan Church of Panagia Evangelistria

This imposing church dominates the center of Idalion and is the official seat of the Metropolis of Tremithous. Its construction began in the early 20th century and was completed after decades with the use of local limestone sandstone, offering a unique architectural result. Its interior is adorned with elaborate wood-carved elements and icons crafted at the Holy Monastery of Stavrovouni, while it has two impressive bell towers with bells from Alexandria.
