Holy Monastery of Holy Cross Minthis

The Holy Monastery of the Holy Cross of Minthis is a historic monastic complex that is located a few kilometers outside Tsada in the Paphos district, now incorporated into a verdant resort. The present stone katholikon of the church was built in the mid-eighteenth century upon the foundations of older structures of the period of Venetian rule. Tradition connects the founding of the monastery with the miraculous finding of a large Cross within a bush of mint, while the space offers absolute spiritual serenity to the visitors.
