Holy Monastery of Holy Cross of the Kratimaton

This historic monastic structure is located in an isolated and wooded mountainous area of Paphos, near the communities of Anadiou and Kritou Marottou. It is a single-aisled, wooden-roofed church which was rebuilt during the past century upon the ruins of an older historic monastery that flourished in the area. Nowadays, the space functions as a quiet chapel under the administrative care of the Holy Metropolis of Paphos, keeping alive its spiritual tradition and celebrating its feast during the feast of the Elevation of the Holy Cross.
