Holy Monastery of Panagia Chrysolakournas

The Holy Monastery of Panagia Chrysolakourna is considered the oldest monastery of the Paphos district and is located to the north of the village of Steni. From the historic complex, which was abandoned in the early nineteenth century, survives only its katholikon, which was fully restored in the 1970s as a three-aisled basilica. The location offers an excellent panoramic view toward the bay of Poli Chrysochous, while the church is an important pilgrimage site for the wider area.
