Holy Monastery of Panagia Ierosolymitissas

The Holy Hermitage of Panagia the Ierosolymitissa is a new spiritual refuge that is located on the boundaries of the communities of Kotsiatis and Agia Varvara in the Nicosia district. It officially began its operation in 2023 under the spiritual guidance of the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. In the same surrounding monastic space have been erected the chapels of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou and Saint Mary of Egypt, while the katholikon of the monastery keeps a faithful and precious copy of the eponymous miraculous icon from the holy city of Jerusalem.
