Holy Monastery of Panagia Pantanassas

The Holy Monastery of Panagia Pantanassa is located in the community of Kotsiatis in the Nicosia district and belongs to the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. It originally functioned as a Holy Hermitage and in 2018 it was officially raised to a Provincial Monastery, following the spiritual models of the monasteries of Elder Ephraim of Arizona. This women's monastery is surrounded by a verdant and serene environment, while it is an important pole of attraction for crowds of the faithful, who arrive to venerate the icon of the Theotokos that is considered miraculous.
