Holy Monastery of Saint Mamas

This is a modern women's hermitage that is located in the rural area of the community of Klirou in the Nicosia district and belongs to the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. The space offers an isolated and serene environment, ideal for the nuns who are settled there so as to devote themselves to prayer, fasting, and spiritual asceticism. The monastery celebrates its feast every year at the beginning of September, attracting the faithful from the surrounding areas who arrive to honor the memory of Saint Mamas.
