Holy Spilaion Saint Theosevios Arsinoitis

The Holy Cave of Saint Theosevios of Arsinoe is the authentic, ancient space of the asceticism of the Saint in the mountainous area of Filousa Chrysochous. It is a natural rock cave in which, according to tradition, the Saint lived and was buried during the fifth century AD. The space is preserved as an extremely devout hollowed pilgrimage site, closely connected with the adjacent modern chapel. The faithful visit the cave to venerate at the spot where the Saint lived, seeking spiritual joy.
