Holy Unmercenaries, Geniko Nosokomeio Levkosias

This distinctive church is built in the forecourt of the new General Hospital of Nicosia. Its erection was carried out in parallel with the modern hospital facilities in order to cover directly the religious needs of the patients, their relatives, and the workers. Owing to its special mission as a spiritual refuge in a place of health, it remains open daily, but is not preferred or suitable for the celebration of secular sacraments.
