Metochi Kykkou

This historic complex is located in the Engomi area and is the central administrative and spiritual centre of the Kykkos Monastery in Nicosia. Within the large paved courtyard dominates the church of Saint Prokopios, which was erected in the late nineteenth century, replacing an older brick-built little church. The surrounding space stands out for its impressive, lush green gardens, offering a quiet lung within the town, while the church is very often chosen by the faithful for the celebration of holy sacraments.
