New Church of Panagia Chrysokorfitissas

This distinctive church was built at the entrance of the new settlement immediately after the forced relocation of the village owing to the large landslides. It is a single-aisled structure with a flat roof and a dome, whose western side rises in a unique way to form a helical bell tower. Its construction was completed in the early 1970s and it has since been the new central parish of the inhabitants of the mountain community.
