New Holy Church of Saint George

This impressive church was built on the western side of the community to serve the modern needs of the area's faithful. It is a spacious and tall edifice in the three-aisled Byzantine style, the works of which were completed in the early part of the previous decade. Its official opening was held with every ecclesiastical splendour by the local Metropolitan of Morphou.
