Old Church of Holy Cross

This historic church is the remaining katholikon of an old monastery that was founded in the early 18th century within the community of Arminou. It is a small, single-aisled church with a characteristic timber-roofed gabled ceiling, which follows the traditional architectural line of the mountain churches of Cyprus. Nowadays, the site preserves the old surrounding wall of its courtyard and now functions as a quiet chapel of the community, falling under the Holy Metropolis of Paphos.
