Orthodoxo Chapel

This traditional church, dedicated to Saint George, is the main religious monument of the mountain settlement and is recognised as an ancient monument. It follows the architectural type of the small tall-roofed basilica of Troodos, having an impressive gabled wooden ceiling with rare vegetal decoration. Inside it, the elaborate wood-carved iconostasis that was gilded in the mid-nineteenth century stands out, as well as three historic clay jars incorporated into the floor to improve the acoustics.
