Panagia Apotheriotissa
The historic country chapel of Panagia Podithou or Apotheriotissa is located in the lush green valley of Solea, on the boundary of the communities of Kakopetria and Galata. It belongs to the category of the timber-roofed churches of the Troodos mountain range and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Monuments list. Its interior is adorned by wall paintings of rare beauty in Italo-Byzantine style that captivate every visitor.
