Panagia Eleousa (Chryseleousa)

The medieval holy country chapel of Panagia Eleousa, also known as Chryseleousa, is an important historic monument in the community of Chloraka in Paphos. It is a Franco-Byzantine edifice in the shape of an equilateral cross with a dome, which functioned as the central parish church of the village until the late 1920s. Inside it, valuable relics and rare Byzantine wall paintings are preserved, among which a unique depiction of the Baptism of Christ stands out.
