Panagia Galaktotrofousa

This small little church is built upon a hill at the entrance of the community and is surrounded by the local cemetery. Below the church an ancient catacomb is preserved, in which the holy icon of the Theotokos was found, as well as a spring with consecrated water that is channelled into a special tank. Tradition reports that this underground refuge served as a secret place of worship for the faithful during the Turkish occupation.
