Panagia Glossa

The Holy Monastery of Zoodochos Pigi, more widely known as Panagia tou Glossa, is located in a serene semi-mountainous location near the village of Kellaki in the Limassol district. The monastery's present central church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity and was erected in the early 1980s next to an older historic chapel. The epithet 'Glossa' (tongue) is inextricably connected with the long religious tradition and the numerous miracles of the icon of the same name, which mainly concern the healing of people with problems of speech, articulation and hearing.
