Panagia Kousouliotissa

This historic country chapel formerly functioned as a monastery and is nestled among towering pines of the Solea area. The interior of the church suffered extensive destruction by fire during the '60s, an event that led to the complete replacement of its icons and wooden equipment. Tradition connects its name either with the original owner of the land or with the miraculous property of the Theotokos to heal small children.
