Panagia of Zalaka

This modern chapel is located at the top of Mount Zalaka, which dominates above the community of Trimiklini. Its erection was based on a local tradition of the discovery of a spring with holy water (agiasma) at that spot, while the structure itself is a private donation. It has a beautiful cross-in-square construction with a dome and red tiles, offering at the same time an impressive, panoramic view over the whole valley of the Kouris.
