Panagia Zanatziotisa

The Holy Church of Panagia Zanatziotissa (or Panagia Eleousa) is located in the community of Souni-Zanatzia in the Limassol district, being the oldest historic core of the settlement of Zanatzia. It is a single-aisled basilica of traditional construction, which preserves inside it a noteworthy iconostasis and old icons that attest to the long-standing religious presence in the area. The church is closely connected with the local traditions of the inhabitants, while every year it gathers faithful during the great Marian feasts.
