Prophet Elias

This small chapel is located in the mountain community of Moniatis in the Limassol district, surrounded by the rich forest vegetation of the Troodos area. It was built in the early 2000s, as it was erected exactly upon the foundations of an older, destroyed shrine that previously existed at the same spot. It functions as a quiet and contemplative station of worship, attracting many faithful and passing excursionists, especially on the day of the annual feast of the Prophet.
