Prophet Elias

This small country chapel is built high upon a mountain peak to the east of the settlement, offering a panoramic view towards the surrounding valley of Marathasa. The structure stands out for its distinctive character, as it has a rare bell tower that is placed upon an adjacent tree. The space around the church has been recently redeveloped with the creation of an organised viewpoint suitable for walks. The church opens its doors to the public mainly during the annual festive service held in mid-July.
