Prophet Elias

The small, plain country chapel of the Prophet Elias is built in a beautiful, lush green location in the community of Treis Elies in the Limassol district. It is a very small church of traditional style with a sloping roof, which is perfectly harmonised with the mountainous landscape of the area. Owing to its particularly limited dimensions, it functions mainly as a place of pilgrimage and calm, while every year on the feast of the Prophet Elias it gathers the few inhabitants and visitors of the village.
