Ruins Church of Saint George

In the rural periphery of the community of Pano Arodes in Paphos are located the stone remnants of the old church that was dedicated to Saint George. The structure has suffered total collapse over the passage of the centuries, with the result that only low sections of its original masonry survive within the wild vegetation of the countryside. The space lacks a roof and is not functional for the celebration of ecclesiastical services, being a silent archaeological testimony of the medieval history of the village.
