Ruins Church of Saint Timothy and Mavra Kakoratzia

On the boundaries of mountainous Larnaca, isolated within the wild nature of Kakoratzia, one encounters the remnants of an old stone church. This chapel, dedicated to the memory of Saint Timothy and Saint Mavra, now stands as a silent ruin, lacking a roof and functional infrastructure. Owing to the total wear that it has suffered over the passage of the centuries, the space does not have the ability to receive the faithful or to host social and religious ceremonies, being however a historic and religious landmark of the Cypriot countryside.
