Saint Anastasios

This small and simple chapel is located to the southeast of the community of Frenaros. The present church was erected in 2003 at the expense of the church and with contributions of donors, taking the place of an older ancient little chapel that had been completely ruined and was demolished. It is a single-aisled structure with a marble floor, which externally is faced with traditional field stone, while its interior remains whitewashed and without wall paintings. The church functions mainly during the annual feast of the Saint in mid-September, being a quiet refuge of prayer for the area's residents.
