Saint Archangel

The ancient chapel of the Archangel Michael is perched on the western heights of Kalopanagiotis, offering a panoramic view toward the valley of the Setrachos. It was part of the old monastic settlement of Tzelia, which contributed decisively to the religious development of the area. The church follows the type of the wooden-roofed single-space churches with a pointed roof and hosts rare ecclesiastical relics, such as a printed gospel of 1550 with an old brass cover.
