Saint Barbara Korakou

This historic chapel is located just outside the mountainous community of Korakou, near the site of the abandoned village of Agroladou. It is an ancient structure with a characteristic wooden gabled roof, which presents a typology similar to that of other important churches of the Solea area. Owing to its age, its great archaeological value, and its limited interior space, it is protected by the Department of Antiquities and is not used for crowded sacraments.
