Saint Charalambos

This modern church is located in the "Doryforos" area of Aglantzia and is dedicated to Saint Charalambos, being a spiritual point of reference for the refugees of occupied Neo Chorio Kythrea. Its erection began in 2005 and was completed the following year, with the aim of keeping alive the memories of the displaced residents close to their ancestral land. Its architecture follows the traditional Orthodox lines with white walls and a dome, while the space operates normally every Sunday, hosting besides the divine services also various sacraments of the parish.
