Saint Demetrios

This particular chapel is located in the community of Silikou in the Limassol district and is one of the oldest religious monuments of the area. It dates back around the 12th century and bears evident elements of Byzantine church building with a simple, plain construction adapted to the surrounding space. Its small interior space preserves a devout atmosphere, while its historic presence inextricably connects the community's past with the Orthodox tradition.
